This CCPA Privacy Policy supplements the PayWow Privacy Policy and applies specifically to California residents ("consumers" or "you") whose personal information is collected by SPAN Enterprises LLC, doing business as PayWow ("PayWow," "we," "us," or "our"), in connection with the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act ("CCPA").
This Policy does not apply to personal information collected, processed, or used solely in the employment context where PayWow acts as a service provider to a business (for example, employee payroll data processed on behalf of an employer using PayWow). In those cases, the employer is generally responsible for providing applicable notices to its employees, and requests regarding that data should generally be directed to the employer as PayWow processes such data on the employer's behalf.

We collect sensitive personal information, including Social Security numbers and financial account details, solely as necessary to provide payroll processing and tax filing services, and not to infer characteristics about you.
We collect personal information from the following sources:
We use personal information for the business and commercial purposes described in our Privacy Policy, including to provide payroll and tax filing services, process payments, prevent fraud, comply with legal obligations, and improve the Services. We do not use sensitive personal information for any purpose beyond what is necessary to provide the Services and comply with applicable law.
We disclose personal information to the categories of third parties described in our Privacy Policy, including tax agencies, service providers, and affiliates such as TaxBandits. In the preceding 12 months, we have disclosed the categories of personal information identified in Section 2 to these categories of recipients for business purposes.
PayWow does not sell personal information, as that term is defined under the CCPA. PayWow does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising purposes.
If you are a California resident, you have the following rights with respect to your personal information, subject to certain exceptions provided by law:
Right to Know. You may request that we disclose the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the categories of sources, the purposes for collecting it, and the categories of third parties with whom we have disclosed it.
Right to Delete. You may request that we delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions, such as information we are required to retain for tax recordkeeping, legal compliance, or completion of a transaction.
Right to Correct. You may request that we correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.
Right to Opt Out. Because PayWow does not sell or share personal information, there is no applicable opt-out required for those activities. If this changes, we will update this Policy and provide a mechanism to opt out.
Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information. You may request that we limit the use of your sensitive personal information to purposes necessary to perform the Services. Because PayWow already limits its use of sensitive personal information to providing payroll and tax filing services and complying with law, no additional action is generally required to honor this right.
Right to Non-Discrimination. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA rights, including by denying services, charging different prices, or providing a different level of service.
You may submit a request to exercise your rights under the CCPA by:
We will verify your identity before processing your request, which may require you to provide additional information. If you designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf, we may require proof of the agent's authority and verification of your identity directly.
We will respond to verified requests within the timeframes required by the CCPA. If we need additional time, we will notify you of the reason and extension period.
If you are an employee or contractor whose payroll is processed by PayWow on behalf of a business using our Services, and you wish to exercise rights regarding your personal information, please contact that business directly, as PayWow processes this information as a service provider on the business's behalf. PayWow will assist the business in responding to your request as required under our service agreements and applicable law.
PayWow does not currently offer any financial incentive, discount, or other benefit in exchange for the collection, sale, or retention of personal information.
We may update this CCPA Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last Updated" date at the top of this Policy.
